Alan with Chairman Kathryn Greiner,
Australian Hearing staff and patients.

Today I had the pleasure of visiting Australian Hearing in Fremantle and along with Chairman Kathryn Greiner, staff and patients, helped celebrate the organisation's 60th year as Australia's leading hearing service provider.
Australian Hearing started in Sydney in 1947 with just four employees and has since grown in presence, employing 900 professionals to provide services at more than 88 permanent sites and 200 visiting sites throughout the country.
Australian Government assistance provided through Australian Hearing now ensures that Australians have access to small, digital devices which are comfortable and discreet. Over the last 60 years, the organisation has fitted over 1 million hearing aids.
Australian Hearing is an industry leader in hearing rehabilitation, acoustic research, technology development and education. I am pleased that the assistance of the Australian Government has helped enable the continuing success of this organisation.
